Phew! I have been busy working on lots of little projects (and some big ones too) around the house. This post is a little tour of all the projects u have been working on and/or finished lately! I’ll probably do full posts on some of them, but if you see something you want a tutorial on let me know!
Welcome to our home!
I did an exchange with misti over at quote krazy vinyl. One of the things I wanted was a huge hello for my entryway! I also painted our shoe rack to match some of the red accents in the living room.
I added a vinyl quote that complements the giant Window picture of annie and I from our wedding. I also put some fun instagram photos on display in our mantle. There is a little water feature I got from a co-worker years ago and my delicious smelling goose creek candle. I swear that candle makes my entire house smell like vanilla cakes, and is a double wick so it burns evenly and won’t leave any wasted candle in the jar!
The kids are totally getting a kick out of these larger than life photos of them in their playroom! You have to love staples engineering prints!
My chalkboard fridge gets a ton of use! I use the top to write notes to my hubby and kids (and set the mood for any parties we are having) and the kids happily draw on the bottom half while I cook 4678326895 meals a day! P.S. doesn’t my hubby has the best sense of humor? He likes to refer to Wheel of Fortune as Wheel of Torture!
I added some more vinyl to the kids art wall upstairs. The photo canvases were some of the easiest I’ve ever made and the kids think this is the best thing ever!
I swear this bathroom is going to kill me! It was supposed to be an easy transformation, but it is proving to be really annoying. I have stacks of pallets in my garage waiting to be taken apart, sanded, cut to fit and stained for the wall in there, but it all seems soooo overwhelming! I am pretty sure this means it will be the most awesome thing I have ever done when I am finished, but for the meantime I just want to shut the door and forget it exists.
I used one of my free quarts of Ace paint to start the tinkerbell transformation in my middle daughters room. I am so happy with how it is coming along. It totally makes up for the bathroom project! I am planning on painting some more today and I borrowed a projector from a friend so that I can paint a Pixie Hollow tree mural on the wall as well!! Wish me luck!
So what do you think? Anything you want more details on? Thoughts on my projects? Comments make me happy people!
