I just realized that I never shared these with you, so here you go! My first year teaching I realized a couple of days before school started that I didn’t have any hall or bathroom passes ready to go for my students.
Although this wasn’t an urgent situation, it was one that I wanted to quickly check off my list.I looked online and found a blank library card that fit exactly what I was looking for. I uploaded it into picmonkey (my most favorite photo editing tool) and added some text across the top to say Mrs. Emmett’s class. Super easy!
I cut down some really thin wood that I got at Joann’s into 4×6 size and printed off my hall passes on my home printer. I simply mod podged them onto the wood and let them dry. They stood up to daily use all year and still look as good as new! In case you want to make your own, here is the blank library card file!
