So you may have noticed a shift in the recipes I share, yep, that’s right, I went vegan. I was a vegetarian for nine years and I recently decided to go back. I added in the dairy because I feel like it is something that i tend to use as a (fattening) crutch. I also watched a couple of documentaries (forks over knives and vegucated) which both talked about the serious health benefits of cutting out animal protein from your diet. I figure that it doesn’t have to be forever and I can add in whatever I want, whenever I want (for example I will still eat the eggs we get from our chickens and sushi, because I LOVE sushi!!!). For now though it seems to be a good fit for me and my lifestyle!
