Recently i shared with you the sewn paper invitations I made for my daughter birthday. I love sewing on paper so much that when it came time to get my Thanksgiving invitations ready, I knew that I was going to have to sew those as well! The first step was getting the wording and spacing just right. I wanted something fun and playful. Since we never had a house warming party I also wanted to include something that made the invite encompass both the Thanksgiving meal and a house warming aspects of the event. With that in mind this is what I came up with!
After those were printed, I cut some fall colored paper into leaf shapes and started placing them on the invitations. Then it was a quick run through the sewing machine and they were done! This was a super simple and totally custom look, which I love! I need to have more parties so I have an excuse to make more invitations!
