Consider this fair warning. This is a picture heavy, word light post. I shared our hutch transformation last week, and I am happy to share with you the whole room transformation today! First let’s look at what this room looked like when we first moved in.
I can tell you that everything in this room we either built ourselves, bought off craigslist and refinished or picked up at the thrift store. All told we spent $125 making this room over. Although we did spend quite a few man hours getting all that work done! So…here it is today!
Hutch – $25 off craigslist. Painted with paint from Ace’s free paint Saturday campaign. The backing was $20 from etsy.
Table- $50 off craigslist. Sanded, stained and clear coated with things we had on hand. Table runner is left over from our wedding and the candle holder is something we picked up ages ago and never used.
Chairs- FREE- we already had five and the rest were included in with the table. $10 spent on spray paint.
Knick Knacks in hutch- two glass decanters, a martini shaker, small dish and vintage bar supplies $10 at the thrift store
Art on the walls- we already had everything except the giant cribbage board, which was $5 at the thrift store. I remade the wooden sign and my father in law gave us the two beautiful prints. The tree was a gift from my grandmother in law and the tiki mask…well that was my hubby’s from before we met!
Total spent: $125!!!!
