I love a project where all the supplies can come from either the dollar store or the dollar bins at a big chain or I have around my house! Somehow creating something so amazing from inexpensive items seems so much more rewarding! This project is made using beads leftover from this project, fishing line I already had, a button and some craft jewelry cord from Walmart! You can easily pick up all these things at the dollar store, which means that these beautiful bracelets can be made for as little as $4! Plus you will have lots of supplies left over to make even more bracelets!!
Start by cutting a length of cord twice the length you want your finished bracelet to be. I wanted mine to wrap around two times so I cut it faj;ldjkfl;a inches long. string it through your button so you have two equal lengths on either side and tie a simple knot under the button. Tie your fishing line in as well, making sure you have three times as much length for that as you do for your cord (I cut mine to jalkdfj inches).
String your fishing line through your first bead and place your bead between your two strands of cord. wrap the fishing line OVER cord #1 and then back through your bead, the wrap it OVER cord #2. Repeat this process until your bracelet has reached the desired length.
This takes a little while so put on your favorite show and get comfy! Once you’ve reached your stopping point tie all three strands (cords #1 and #2 and the fishing line) in a knot. Then tie another knot about an inch (or however big you need for your button) further down to act as a clasp for your bracelet. Just like that you are done! These bracelets were an easy and not too time consuming craft that look so great! These will make the perfect gift for the fashionista in your life!
