I started making my own salsa about a year ago, and I haven’t been able to buy a jarred salsa since. I love the freshness and the texture of this salsa so much that I put it on almost everything! It is one of the quickest and easiest things to make and totally worth it!
Homemade Salsa
- 1 can of diced tomatoes and green chilis with liquid
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 Anaheim or Jalapeno pepper finely diced (depending on how hot you want it, the Anaheim is a milder pepper)
All you need to do is mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and serve! I usually make this in double batches, because I can’t stand to run out! This is a super easy dip and it makes the perfect addition to my 6 Layer Party Dip, some amazing nachos or even with some homemade tortilla chips!
