So I might be a little late to the Valentine’s party (it’s only January people!), but this project will take you less time than an episode of Dexter. By the way, it’s totally my husband and my favorite show right now (thanks Netflix) and we have blazed through 6 seasons in a month! Don’t ruin it for me if you know how it ends though!! Okay, back to Valentine’s Day.
I touched on my annoyance with over the top holiday exchanges back around Halloween, but in case you missed it and you don’t want to click back I’ll recap. I hate them. I hate that on top of all of the things I am normally doing there is an expectation to find more time to create an elaborate craft/gift/food item that my kid can shove in his backpack and then hand out to his friends. They don’t really appreciate all that hard work, so I am choosing to find better ways to spend my time! Enter the worlds easiest Valentine.
I was at the dollar store the other day and picked up a couple packs of cute Valentine’s Day pencils. Then I whipped up a cute printable. Once I cut them all apart I simply used an exacto knife to make a small cut at each end of the arrow and slipped the pencils in. The hardest part of this whole thing was trying to get my printer to print. It just doesn’t seem to love my laptop anymore! I really need a new wireless printer, any recommendations? Do you have one you love? One you hate? Let me know what I should be looking at! Anyway, simply download the file HERE and before you know it, making valentines will be off your list!

Don’t know if you’ve found a printer yet, but I’ve had an HP Envy for about 3 months now and lOvE it! I finally got tired of fighting the old one I had and gave in. Found one on Amazon for under 100 bucks, and it even prints from my cell phone. Thanks for the printable!
