We’ve been eating outside a lot lately, and we’ve even hosted a few impromptu bbq’s with friends. One of the things I have found over the years with hosting lot’s of people is that it can be hard to find something that everyone likes to drink and that doesn’t break the bank. Today I am going to share with you a super quick and easy party drink that is sure to please everyone and keep your wallet happy too!
When I first introduced my husband to the idea of making jungle juice he was skeptical and had never heard of it. I attribute this to the fact that he never lived in a college dorm! Traditionally Jungle Juice is made with alcohol soaked fruit, but as I have gotten older (and wiser) I am less interested in drinks that pack a boozy “punch” and more interested in flavor. This recipe doesn’t shy away from a full fruit flavor and keeps everyone safe and sober so they can drive themselves home at the end of the night! There are three new flavors available in the 96 oz size of Kool-Aid and four fun flavors of the liquid squeeze bottles, so the flavor combinations are endless!!
Fresh & Fruity Jungle Juice
(makes approximately 1 gallon)
- 6 cups of ice cubes
- 1 96oz container of Tropical Punch Kool-Aid
- 1/2 container Orange Kool-Aid Liquid
- 1 bag of your favorite frozen fruit mix
Start off by adding your ice and frozen fruit to your favorite drink dispenser. I picked up this ridiculously awesome mason jar one at Wal-Mart when I was getting my Kool-Aid for less than $10! Once your ice and fruit are in your container add in your Tropical Punch Kool-Aid and squirt in half of your Orange Kool-Aid mix in. Screw the lid on and give it a little shake. Done! By adding in the extra Kool-Aid flavor when your ice melts you aren’t left with a watery version of your original drink because the water mixes in with the orange flavor and keeps it flavorful.
Now head out to Wal-Mart and pick up everything you need to create this super delicious and easy Jungle Juice, #KoolOff and then tell me which flavor combo’s you chose!

generally people do not discuss these topics. To the next!
