During the Summer down in the south there are afternoon showers, some days theses showers last all afternoon and sometimes they are just from about lunch till 3 o’clock, the heat of the day. I find that after about the 3rd day of these showers the kids are bored out of their mind and starting to get mischievous. I have a craft container that I put all the “quick craft” supplies in. During these rainy afternoons when the kids start getting a little wild, I like to pull it out and let their imaginations run wild.
In our craft container we have:
- Yarn
- Construction paper
- Stickers
- Crayons, Markers, Colored Pencils
- Scissors
- Fishing Line
- Beads
- Cardboard Pieces
- Popsicle Sticks
- Glue & Glue Sticks
- Pencils & Pens
I recently was given a new camera by my wonderful husband! It was my Mothers Day Gift. {We celebrate mothers day at the beginning of June around her because both of my childrens’ birthdays are in May, two weeks apart.} We headed out to the beach to take some beautiful pictures and all of us just play on the beach, but Mother nature had other ideas. So we head home & I got our craft container out and here is what we created.
