Hey lovelies! I am back today with another craft lightning project, this time we all got together to bring you kid’s crafts that take 15 minutes or less. I am all about easy crafts that don’t make a huge mess and hold my kids interest for longer than 30 seconds, which is not as easy a task as you might think! This project is a good one because it is both fun for the kids while they are making it, but it is also fun for the kids to wait and watch for birds to come eat them after they are made!
This project only takes two supplies: cheerios and pipe cleaners! I always try and do my kid projects outside so any mess we make is cleaned up by mother nature! You simply have the kids string the cheerios onto the pipe cleaner, making sure to wrap the bottom of the pipe cleaner around the bottom cheerio so they don’t all fall off. It’s a great activity to build fine motor skills in young ones and a lesson in patience for the older ones! Once you are done simply attach them to the nearest tree and wait for the birds to swoop in and eat the cereal! Find more posts by clicking here!
