Hello friends! This week I’m at the Snap blog conference. I went for the first time last year and had such a great time I had to go back! Join me on my Snap adventure by following me on Instagram @dolendiaries Since I’m off having so much fun I had to share something as equally as fun with y’all! I am totally OBSESSED with this Budget Friendly Tiered Tray in it’s vintage-inspired pink beauty!
I have been drooling over tiered trays for a while but they can be pricey. I found this guy at Harbor Freight Tools while waiting for a birthday party to end at a near by Chuckie Cheese {that place stresses me out!} and I just HAD to have it! Psst….they are on sale right now, too. I think I need at least four more of these don’t you!?! Okay, okay so I’m not sure what I’d use them for but I love them!
**Warning…it takes forever to put together. My sweet, sweet husband put it together one Saturday morning while I was having coffee with a dear friend and it took him an hour. He’s crazy handy, too. But his hard work was SO worth it!
As cute as the tiered tray was on it’s own I really wanted to make it pretty. It was going into my craft room so I had a rare pink opportunity. I picked Krylon’s Ballet Slipper in a satin finish and this is currently my favorite color. It’s pretty, girly, and has a fun vintage vibe.
I popped the tiers off and sprayed the bottoms first and then flipped them over and sprayed in inside of the trays.
After all the paint was dry I reassembled the tiers and brought it into the house. I quickly realized that it smelled very strongly of spray paint and took it out into the carport to air out for a few days. I use mine to as a catch all for the craft supplies I’m currently using.
I rarely finish a project in one sitting and this beauty allows me to keep my work space free and my supplies handy! What color will you paint yours!?!
Don’t forget to pop by Dolen Diaries to check out my latest adventures in creativity!

There’s a Harbor Freight near me and I’ve never gone but my husband has expressed interest. Now it looks like we have a good reason for us both to go!
