This summer I set about making some small design updates around or house and one of the first things I did was repaint our hutch. I absolutely loved the brightness of the green, but because our dining room gets soon much natural light all day, the color was always washed out and dirty looking. I decided to go with a deep blue (superior blue to be exact) for the exterior and then to lighten it up I painted the inside of the cabinet white.
Instant transformation and I am so in love with the change. However, we still had a big blank wall next to it that needed to be dealt with. I hung some fun decals up there last fall, but now that Thanksgiving has passed (and then some) that space was in need of a pick me up. My husband is always requesting more art rather than photos so I checked out Minted’s art gallery to see if they had the answer. And they did. In fact they had over 5645875346 choices for art prints give or take. Plus they frame them!!! With any of their 12 amazing framing options. I spent a lot of time going through their site choosing and rechoosing my pieces.
A great trick to buying art for a gallery wall online is to put it all in your cart so you can see how it will look all together. However, Minted takes it to the next level with their boards. You can fill in a gallery wall, or create your own pin board. Now the hardest part was making sure I ordered all my prints the right size and with the right frame. It’s hard! Once I decided and I placed my order there was nothing to do but wait. Luckily I didn’t have to wait long because after less than two weeks my art was here!
A great way to lay out your gallery wall is to try out different arrangements on the floor first. So I placed, and replaced each of my pieces until I had it just the way I wanted! I love how wonderful all my pieces go together without being too matchy matchy. It’s just the right amount of eclectic and stylish. the best part was that all I had to do was click and hang. No running around to multiples stores. With three kids. The only downside was that their selection is ridiculously big and choosing only a few items was almost the end of me.

I wanted to add one last piece that had some special meaning to my husband and I, so I created this printable with the lyrics to Led Zeppelin’s Thank You. It’s the song I walked down the aisle to, and it has a special place in my heart. Click on the image below for you own printable copy!
