FYI – I received a Crafternoon kit to review for this post.
I am so excited to share this project with you today for a couple of reasons. The first one being that I LOVE projects that take less than an hour to finish. Who doesn’t love that. In fact these adorable shoe clips only take about 15 minutes to whip up! The second thing that has me so excited is that these shoe clips are a product designed by my good friends Lindsay over at Frenchie!
Supplies
(everything but hot glue and scissors is included in the package)
- 4 different ribbons
- 2 shoe clips
- 2 gems
- 2 felt squares
- hot glue gun
- scissors
Instructions
The kit comes with some super easy to follow instruction and photos to help guide you if you get confused!
Start off by cutting all your ribbons in half.
Then you are going to fold your first ribbon in half and half again and glue it to the felt.
Next you will wrap the satin trimmed ribbon around your fingers and glue it on top of the first ribbon on the felt.
Then you will fold the cord in half and in half again and, yep, glue it on top of the other ribbons on the felt.
The last ribbon you wrap around your fingers and then glue on top of all the rest.
Then you get to glue your gem right smack in the middle of all those pretty ribbons.
Next, trim off all the excess felt from around where you glued. Get it as small as possible.
Then glue the felt piece to the top of the shoe clip.
Attach to your favorite pair of shoes and GO!
And in case you want to watch the whole thing in action, here you go!
