Please use standard safety procedures when changing your oil. You should always refer to your own car’s manual before changing your oil.
So we run a pretty DIY house over here. I’m all about making what I can, and my hubby gets in on the diy around the house. It’s amazing how empowering it is to know that you can fix/make/build anything that comes up! My hubby usually changes my oil for me, and I decided it was time to relearn, just in case.
Turns out it’s only 6 steps and some of them are stupid easy.
Step 1 – Buy the right oil and filter. Check your cars manual!
Step 2 – Locate the drain plug, and unscrew it. Make sure your oil pan is ready!!!
Step 3 – Drain oil.
Step 4 – Locate and remove old oil filter. Install new filter.
Step 5 – Replace drain plug. Add new oil.
Step 6 – Recycle used oil.
See wasn’t that crazy easy?! We always choose synthetic oil because it is specially formulated to give the best results. The Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic motor oil is a high-quality oil that has been specially designed to give your engine complete protection. It’s also really important to change your oil on schedule because you can get an average of 550 extra miles per year vs. a dirty engine.
